Re: at South Dakota, at Oral Roberts

Offensively we gotta get Ancrum the ball where he can get going. Kobe is great but he can be contained. If you get Ancrum going , it will get Kobe room to operate.. Hope coach goes with the traditional line up, 4 guard offense only in some situations. The key to all of this is to make sure that the...

Re: vs Omaha, vs Oak Hills Christian

Oak hill is a joke. This game is just a stat booster for coach Wright. Never understood why they couldn't at least play a good d3 team. Why all of these small naia /Christians league?

Re: at South Dakota, at Oral Roberts

The Hagedorn Gilbeck matchup should be a good one to watch. I wonder who will get the pleasure of guarding Mooney tonight. Probably Duff my guess. Update: Hagedorn has a little Daum in him. Boy likes to pop the 3 now and then. Shooting about 38% from beyond arc. Both Mooney and hagedorn were taken ...

Re: at Eastern Illinois, at Butler, vs Lincoln Christian

Another horrible loss and another horrible officiated game. Very one sided in my opinion. The red head got in foul trouble again and it took him out of the game..... Again. Seemed like alot of those calls were non existent or there was nothing he could do. Even if he was in the game, he would have o...

Re: at Eastern Illinois, at Butler, vs Lincoln Christian

This game reminds me of the Chicago state game from a couple of years ago, When the refs were clearly bribed and blew the game for western. Think there was even better calls and officiating in that game too! Horrible, just horrible.

Re: at Eastern Illinois, at Butler, vs Lincoln Christian

Easily one of the worst officiated games of the season. The refs were clearly on EIU's side. The red head had his way every time he was out there. They couldn't stop him (or any of our bigs)! The only problem was that he could not stay in the game because of the refs. Many late, and nonexistent call...

Didn't sound like he was that injured. I'm expecting him to play. But even if he does, he shouldn't bother the necks too badly.

Re: So how good are we?

Stay healthy is understatement of year. Gilbeck got gimpy last night late in the game. What he was doing playing that late in game is beyond me. I was sitting behind the bench when the red head was finally subbed out. The short bald coach yelled at him, told him he wasn't hurt and that he was soft....

Re: vs Miami (OH), vs American, vs Milwaukee

Western beat UW-Milwaukee 90-69. Western is now 7-2 on the season. Kobe Webster led the Western scoring with 21 points. Brandon Gilbeck had 17. Jeremiah Usiosefe had 16. Dalan Ancrum had 13. Isaac Johnson had 11. Western was 16 for 26 (61.5%) on three-point attempts. Western's largest lead was 35 p...
