Re: A New Beginning has Begun

He's a 'disaster' who just signed $200 million in new capital funding for Western. As opposed to the previous disaster who starved WIU into this crisis by pulling tens of millions of operating funds, with no time to plan for it. this ↑ I'm not saying Pritzker is going to be some amazing governor th...

https://twitter.com/coachk_2x/status/1149832435334619136 EDIT - Kennedy Cattenhead is originally from Bolingbrook, IL and played at Illinois from 2013-2018 (redshirt in 13/14 -> R-Senior in 17/18). She actually lead the Illini with 18 points when we beat them in November of 2017 (77-67): https://fi...

Re: A New Beginning has Begun

The two new Trustees have to be registered Republicans. The only question we should care about now is, are they going to be Pro Joe or Pro Martin Republicans. I fear Martin might get out politicked being new to the State. Technically, I think the way the rules are written, no more than 4 (of the 8 ...

2019 Roster - QBs

I know I normally do a review of each position and talk about everyone on the roster, but this summer has been a bit crazy, so I haven't been able to get that going. I did see an article about one of our transfer QBs that I wanted to post, so I figure I'll go ahead and just do something quick. Feel ...

Like I said, outside of a few BOT members, nobody wants him anywhere close to a leadership position.

Re: A New Beginning has Begun

I guess what makes me the most nervous about this is that the only way they didn't get to name Rives the interim president is because of the two removed and the other 3 who did not show up out of solidarity. Are we now going to be stuck with a skewed BOT who wants this guy even though most people t...

Re: A New Beginning has Begun

I guess I don't understand the process you are talking about. (And this is why I'm not on the BOT). I just figured they were appointed and either accepted or declined. Nope...Governor's people look into candidates, do an initial vetting for any obvious problems, then the Governor can give his "ok" ...

Re: A New Beginning has Begun

What kind of issues? Jackie and her husband bleed purple and gold. I don't know the other gentleman, so I can't speak for him. I'm sure they love the university...they had a huge hand in making the Ray Hanson Statue a reality...but the reasoning had more to do with how they handled the senate confi...

Re: A New Beginning has Begun

So, once again, Pritzker stabs us in the back. Illinois is doomed. Sounds like they weren't going to be confirmed by the senate anyway (a process that was still ongoing). Pritzker wants to make sure that WIU has the right BOT members in place to really work to get things turned around. There were a...

Re: A New Beginning has Begun

My two cents and you know I always have a couple of pennies lying around (in fact, not too long ago , I took all of my coins to the bank. Everything was rolled except the pennies. I had to use a milk crate and hand truck to get it into the bank in two trips. Came to over $3200 dollars when it was s...
