Re: Is the HC's seat starting to get a little warm?

From what I understand we took a serious look at the OVC last year. I'm not sure if Paul was on board or not but the OVC had schools leaving, Belmont and Murray State went to the MVC and maybe a couple more left, not sure. We decided to wait. From a geographic standpoint it would be a lot of sense. ...

Re: Is the HC's seat starting to get a little warm?

HIs recruiting has really slipped. Look at Scott's figures again. A good friend told me of a referee who does Western Big 6 games and some games in the Quad Cities on both sides of the river who had supplied JD with names of players he has seen in games he has refed. The ref would ask the coach next...

Re: Summit League Tournament

St. Thomas went on a 16-2 run late in the game. We didn't score for over five minutes. As long as Jeter stays I believe the program will improve.

Re: Is the HC's seat starting to get a little warm?

Agree with others that JD is a good guy and has been good in the community. But the figures Scott posted speak for themselves. If his contract is up I'd bet Paul finds a new coach. It won't take long.  IMO JD has gotten lazy in recruiting. He told me a year ago when a girl he  lost a girl he was rec...

Re: Vs UND

Glad I was able to make the second half after dinner and meeting at the AGR House. I must have brought the men luck. They were down five when I arrived.

Massner's shooting reminded me of the Joe Dykstra days! I even called Coach Margenthaler to tell him about it and we immediately brought up Joe D.

Re: at Eastern Illinois

Looking forward to the DH in Moline tonight. Only received one inch of snow yesterday up here in the shadows of the UNI-Dome and none expected today!!

Should be two fairly easy wins for both teams tonight.

Re: Football Staff Changes

I stand corrected. Noah Epley did NOT commit yet. He was offered and is visiting this weekend. He also is scheduled to visit USD. He would be a good addition to our LB corps.
