Re: 2016 - Week 3 in the MVFC (and other games of interest)

Am I the only one that wants to see USD get their butts kicked not only by us later on, but by UND this weekend? Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy with the head coach and staff we ended up with - personally, I think it was a giant leap forward; but with that said, I'm still torqued about how ...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

7.1% increase in freshmen enrollment is a positive for Northeastern Illinois. In looking at the Table on the above referenced web site, Eastern Illinois, SIU-Carbondale, and Northern Illinois had the biggest negative numbers. It helps alot that NEIU has 5 places around the city of Chicago and subur...

Re: WIU vs Bye Week (9/17/2016)

Yes, we need to take everything with a grain of salt but I have seen enough so far to have me tickled pink. First, the defense. We bend but don't break very much. We seem to make quick adjustments during the course of the game to stop the bleeding. Our blitz calls appear to be well-timed and actuall...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

I am going to reserve any and all judgment until the Western Courier weighs in on the matter. Here you go, Seal Hall. Enrollment down, administrators remain positive. http://westerncourier.com/36213/news/enrollment-down-administrators-remain-positive/ Wow, I had to read it twice to see if I missed ...

Massey Composite now has us at #6. Not sure if all the polls have been updated but we are getting some respect for sure.

Re: GDT: WIU vs NAU (9/10/2016)

Oh, and I didn't see any available at the "side gate" - the area where the little "will call" ticket booth is (kind of behind the west stands). They just had kids there checking tickets. Lots of students came in from there, though - I think many of them had been to the Union and...

Seal, you weren't at the game. I was. For a guy that is worried about details on whether something should be called a pipeline vs. a tunnel, I guess maybe one might have naturally concluded you might be concerned about a minor detail of the reported attendance being off by 4,000 people. Off by 4000...
