Re: Time for a change.
38-73 over four years...a .342 record. What's the likelihood that Coach Wright gets called into Tanney's office when he gets back from the tournament and told that his services are no longer needed? Personally, I think it's time to let him go. I'd say the chances of it actually happening...probably ...

Re: 2018 Summit League Tournament
Augustana University (as opposed to Augustana College in the Quad Cities) does have pretty decent facilities and would fit in just fine with the Summit. The question would be what to do about football for them. They'd need to expand their stadium a bit and the team isn't too bad, but haven't been &...

https://www.argusleader.com/sports/ http://argusleader.sd.newsmemory.com...aid_subscriber& Interesting read about Summit expansion. I could see Augustana making the move before anyone else. Their facilities look good enough to do it now. Big advantage being able to leverage some facilities owne...

2018 Summit League HOF - Dr. Helen Smiley
"Regarded as one of the most influential administrators in league history, Smiley's name adorns The Summit League's all-sports women's award. In a career that spanned three decades, Smiley spent nine years as Western Illinois' Women's Director of Athletics and seven years as the school's Direct...

No longer on roster: TE Jackson Riley, 6'4", 235lb

Looks like he played in 7 games in 2016, but did not play at all last season.

Re: Non-WIU coaching news
I know it only seems like yesterday when we said that Gunnard Twyner was named the new outside WR coach at Arkansas State...technically it was two weeks ago...but he apparently got an offer he couldn't refuse. He is now the offensive quality control coach for the Indianapolis Colts. [tweet]https://t...
