We could not win a YMCA game the way we shot tonight. Have we had a game where EVERYONE shot so terribly at the same time?

For the most part we are getting good shots, but my goodness. Dies anyone have more than 5 points? Does the rim or basket sound tight. I have heard a "boing" sound numerous times tonight, and I don't usually hear that when shots are missed.

I watched the Omaha game, and mental toughness and the ability not to get rattled flowed through them. Hopefully the transfer coming in will help at the center position. I think the biggest problem with this team is that they are not mentally tough. I agree, we do have some good players, but they miss a shot or make a bad play and they get so down on themselves and in their heads where it distracts them from being great players.

Problem is our season ends at SDSU on Daum’s Senior Night. Never say Never, but we can get pretty close to saying it! I think the same thing can be said on the women’s side. The bad thing is both teams have to turn right back around and bus back to SD the next week!
