Re: Football Recruits - 2017

Tony Tate, DeKalb HS, DeKalb, IL (by way of one year at DII Wash University in Ohio) 5'8", 155lb, WR https://www.hudl.com/profile/2190273/tony-tate Looks like he'll also be doing track and field. I think (but am not 100% sure) that he can play right away, if I'm reading the transfer exception r...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

Yea, that looks pretty much in line with the numbers I have. Here's my spreadsheet btw, if you're interested in the actual numbers as reported by each university back to 2002 or as far as I could find them: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C8Rsmh61F-3J3w9IM2YO_pgs2fkyTqBWyuu3S4-hDG4/edit?usp=...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff

Jak Tichenor, interim director at the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, sees a very dark future for the state universities if the budget impasse continues. He said: “If we have no movement until after the 2018 elections, I think it would be a certainty s...

Re: Forum update

Just FYI, if you tried to access the site within the last half hour or so, you probably saw that it was having problems. I was trying to update a plugin and accidentally deleted the wrong files. I think everything is fixed now, so keep calm and carry on.

Re: Football Recruits - 2018

Tri-Marea Charles, Titusville HS, Titusville, FL Honestly not 100% sure of the details on this kid. There's this hudl page: http://www.hudl.com/profile/4636445/tri-marea-charles that says he's a 5'10", 170lb RB and plays for The Hitsquad (an area football "academy"). There's also this...

Re: Wichita St leaving MVC?

I don't think we'll see much, if any, further shifting due to the move at this point. The MVC Expansion Committee has announced that they will continue to meet for the next 9 months to evaluate further expansion opportunities. Omaha could be a replacement for Valpo in the Horizon League. Yeah, that...

Re: New Front Page

Not sure how easy it would be, but would be nifty if each "recent result" item had two clickable links. One takes you to the recap from main athletic site. The other, the final score, would take you to the actual box score from athletic site. For the future events, a link to the radio, TV...
