Re: So how good are we?
Yeah, I can understand playing through the pain, but when we're that much up in a non-conference game, I don't see the point in seeing how far he can be pushed. If he comes up injured, I think it's all on that coach. Then again, I've never been a coach, so I don't know what the history or motivation...

Re: So how good are we?
Stay healthy is understatement of year. Gilbeck got gimpy last night late in the game. What he was doing playing that late in game is beyond me. That was exactly my thought. He was definitely wincing in pain quite a few times later in the game when we were already up by ~30. I would have liked to s...

Re: WIU at Weber State (11/25/17) - Playoffs Round 1
How do you have Western in a match up at JMU? Personally, I think that there were more than a couple of throws that WSU made that they missed on but McGuire->Acklin would have caught. Also there was a JMU pass in their last drive to tie it up where it should have been an INT...I think our DBs would...

Re: vs Miami (OH), vs American, vs Milwaukee
I've noticed this. Western hall is really not set up well for division 1 athletics. Reminds me more of a highschool gym. It's not secure security wise and there is too many doors for people to enter the building. If anyone wants to get in for free, all they have to do is enter the side door by the ...

Re: Oral Roberts
It is early, but it appears the Summit League as a whole is down quite a bit from previous years. You're probably not wrong, but at least in our situation it doesn't really matter (and might be a good thing). We appear to be quite a bit better...the rest of the conference on average seems to be dow...

98-24...the MVFC outscored playoff teams 98-24 today...and the starters were out by midway through the 4th quarter in both games.

Re: 2017 Roster Updates
Too bad. It will be interesting to see where he winds up. I know his old HS Coach is now with Missouri Western. That may be a potential spot. I know the guy who was the O-Line coach at Missouri Western up until the end of the 2016 season (Andy Ball, son of former WIU and Missouri State HC Randy Bal...

Re: 2017 Roster Updates
Any idea what is up with Bailey? He was doing good things in camp, I thought he was going to have a great career at WIU. Don't know personally. I can't find his twitter account to try to get some clue (too common of a name, apparently). My best wild and possibly entirely way off the mark guess is t...

Re: FCS Quarterfinals, Dec 8-9
For conference pride, I'd like to see NDSU vs SDSU in the championship game. Barring that, I'd love to see Kennesaw State keep rolling...new team, great defense, turnover plank ( https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2017/11/16/16652786/kennesaw-state-turnover-plank-ed-edd-eddy ). Plus I like th...

Re: vs Austin Peay
This one could be tough. Austin Peay is 7-1 with their only loss at Butler. A couple of those wins are over DII teams, and none of the DI teams they beat have winning records, but still...7-1 is 7-1 (and undefeated at home). After this, the Leathernecks have a 9 day break until their next game: at S...
