Re: End the Season
A few notes to ponder... 1. Again, these are Coach Mo's players. No one is under estimating his ability to coach, but how many games do you think he may have one this year? This current team cannot shoot from the inside or the outside! Coach Wright starting behind the eight ball. 2. Coach Hokenson i...

Re: End the Season
Yes, you are correct Coach Wright recruited them, but as an assistant coach you suggest players to the head coach and they agree or disagree with your recruits. How many recruits were brought to Coach Mo's attention that were better than the current players and were passed over? How quickly we forge...

Re: End the Season
What short memories some of us have... A few years ago their were massive complaints about Coach Mo and his coaching, and his last season in Macomb was not stellar! He had a great couple of years with players he did not recruit and were leaders. Terrell Parks could have played for any coach and made...

Re: WIU - Week 11
Let's face it...there are no "real" leaders on this team just a bunch of followers! One plays bad they all follow suit! They are lacking in that "kill or be killed" mentality. I do believe there is plenty of blame to go around, but when are the players going to be held accountabl...

Re: WIU - Week 8
I will agree this team is soft (but this is not all of a sudden)! Outside of Tate they do not have that "killer" instinct, but they did not have it last year. So, as a coach what are you supposed to do? These are not the same type of players as in the past, so you have to unfortunately tre...

Re: WIU - Week 8
JoeWx21- I don't know why you are always upset! Unfortunately, none of these players can create their own shot off the dribble. All of them need some type of movement to create space for their shot. It is very disappointing that every time I read this board there is an overwhelming amount of fare we...

Re: Summit Tourney Etc
It is so easy to place all of the blame on Coach Wright when we easily forget what Coach Mo left behind. How many players for this season were signed or even recruited when Mo left? So Coach Wright had to recruit a significant amount of players in a short amount of time. Please let me know what real...

Re: observations and opinions
I agree that Covington is not the same as last year. As a freshman he was unknown so he caught teams by surprise. This year he is the main focus, so he is getting every teams best defender. Dalan will be a stud one day, but right now the game is moving at wireless speed and his decision making is on...

We have no control over when the Summit League schedules conference games.
