Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Illinois roads are already past that point. And it's not oh just resurface it. Most of the bases of these roads constructed decades ago bases are essentially powder now. Don't even start on the crumbling bridges, which is life or death if it fails, not a blown tire. Edit: after re-reading your post ...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Meh, I don't think right to work has anything to do with economic improvement. Look at the stats on neighboring Wisconsin. I don't think a states should be able to lure companies from other states with tax breaks etc. should be some kind of regulation on that so people don't lose their jobs because ...

Looks like the senate voting on higher Ed funding bill tomorrow.

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Wow thanks for the info! Just seems like many, if not all, private universities have very nice campuses. But from what I understand their tuition is much higher. Illinois college in Jacksonville is main one I'm thinking of.
I never thought of the religious connection with some of them.

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
I'm not trying to blame qc campus at all. I know there a many many problems in Macomb from top to bottom. I equate it to I would love a second home with a view, but don't have the disposable income to fund it, so guess what? I don't have a second home. Also how do these private universities make han...

Re: Updates to faculty layoff plan and other stuff
Yea, seems like expanding like that should be left to the big schools.
I'd be curious to know how much has been "invested" in that campus? I'm talking total. Property purchase, construction, payroll, everything.

Re: New Seating/Confguration Western Hall?
Asphalt will be going down this year in half of the bypass. That is correct, Gunther Construction a division of UCM was awarded the contract for 36.1 Million to do the first two lanes and all of the bridges associated. Work should begin this spring on that portion and most likely finish middle of n...
