Holy Moly - the Golden Eagles are 56-3 in this tournament. That is what you call total denomination. ;)

In Wednesday's second game, (1) Oral Roberts beat (4) Western 5-2.

Weather: Low 60's, mostly sunny.

Attendance at Tulsa = 817.

Thursday's schedule:
12PM: Western vs North Dakota State. Loser will be eliminated.
6PM: Oral Roberts vs South Dakota State. Winner moves on to the championship round on Saturday.

North Dakota State won the game 11-4. Western has been eliminated from the tournament.

North Dakota State will now play the loser of tonight's Oral Roberts vs South Dakota State on Friday at 6PM.

I watched the game and read the post-game writeup on the athletic site. Errors were obviously the difference in this game (5 vs 0). I wonder at what point in an athlete's life does it become politically correct to tell him/her and rest of world "Young man/woman, you f***ed up at the most inopportune time." Obviously, it is not while the athlete is still in college.

South Dakota State will play North Dakota State at 6PM on Friday in an elimination game.

Oral Roberts moves on to Saturday's championship round.

In Friday night's game, North Dakota State beat South Dakota State 8-2. South Dakota State has been eliminated.

Weather: Low 90s, mostly sunny.

Attendance at Tulsa = 305.

Oral Roberts will play North Dakota State in the championship round at 12 PM on Saturday. If necessary, a second game will follow at 3:30 PM.

Oral Roberts beat North Dakota State 7-0 on Saturday to win the Summit League conference tournament.

Weather: upper 80's, humid.

Attendance at Tulsa = 839.

Selection Process
The Division I Baseball Championship provides for a field of 64 teams to compete in the national tournament. Of the 64 teams, 31 teams will receive automatic qualification with the remaining best 33 teams selected on an at-large basis by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee. Sixteen teams will be seeded and each of the seeded teams will be placed at one of the regional sites

The 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship bracket will be announced Monday, May 29, 2017 (time and network to be determined).

Regionals | June 2-5, 2017
Regionals for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship will be held June 2-5, 2017 on 16 campus sites. At each campus site, a four-team, double-elimination tournament will be conducted and the 16 winning teams advance to the Super Regionals.

Super Regionals | June 9-12, 2017
Super Regionals for the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship will be held June 9-11 or June 10-12 on eight campus sites. At each site, two teams play in a best-of-three tournament format. The winners from each site advance to the NCAA Men’s College World Series.

College World Series | June 17-27/28, 2017
The 2017 NCAA Men's College World Series (CWS) will be held at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, June 17-27/28, 2017. The eight winners advancing from the Super Regional competitions will compete in two four-team double elimination brackets to determine the bracket champions. The two bracket champions will then play a best two-of-three championship series (CWS Finals) to determine the national champion. The CWS Finals format consists of single games Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (if necessary), June 26-27/28.
