Western Baseball

Western Baseball dropped all three games of the season-opening weekend series at Middle Tennessee State.
Western lost 0-2, 7-11, and 3-9. Attendance for these games were in the 500's.
Western Baseball will have a 3-game series at Murray State starting on Friday.
The home opener will be on March 16 vs North Dakota State.

WIU was picked to finish 4th in the preseason poll. There are only 6 teams in the Summit for baseball.

Western lost both games of Sunday's double-header with Murray State: 11-5 and 5-4. These games were played in Marion, IL. Western is now 0-5 on the season.
Game 3 will be played in Murray, KY at 1PM on Monday.

Western lost Monday's game 5-4 to Murray State. Murray State scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win the game.
Western is now 0-6 on the season.
Attendance at Murray State = 57.
Western will open a 3-game series at Evansville on Friday.

Evansville won Friday's game 4-0. Western is now 0-7 on the season.
Attendance at Evansville = 138.
Game 2 will be Saturday at 2PM.
