Western won both games of Friday's double-header vs Saint Louis University: 3-0 and 5-4.
Western is now 4-7 on the season.
Weather: Overcast, low 40's.
Attendance at Saint Louis = 67.
The final game of the series will be Sunday (March 10) at 12 Noon.

Saint Louis won Sunday's game 8-2.
Weather: 37, overcast, windy.
Attendance at Saint Louis = 70.
Western will start a two-game series at Arkansas on Tuesday (March 12).

#10 Arkansas won Tuesday's game 8-0.
Weather: 59, cloudy.
Attendance at Arkansas = 6,926.
They will play again at 3PM on Wednesday.

#10 Arkansas won Wednesday's game 11-1. This game was stopped in the 8th inning (10-run rule).
Weather: 54, intermittent rain.
Attendance at Arkansas = 6,689.
Next games will be the home-opening three-game series with South Dakota State. First game is Friday (March 15) at 3PM.

Due to weather-related issues, this weekend's series between Western Illinois and South Dakota State has been moved to the University of Illinois-Springfield.
The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday and a single-game Sunday.
Start times have yet to be determined.

Western split Saturday's double-header vs South Dakota State.
South Dakota State won the first game 7-6. Western was down 7-0 going into the bottom of the 9th. Western scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th.
Western won the second game 10-6 on a walk-off grand slam by CJ Schaeffer.
Weather: Mid 40's, sunny.
Attendance at the UIS Baseball Stadium = 83.
The three-game series will end with a 12 Noon game on Sunday.

South Dakota State won Sunday's game 7-4.
South Dakota State wins the series two games to one.
Weather: Lower 40's, sunny.
Attendance at the UIS Baseball Stadium = 103.
Next game will be the home opener on Tuesday (March 19) vs Iowa Wesleyan. Game time is 3:00 PM.

Western beat Iowa Wesleyan 16-3 in today's (March 19) home opener. The game was stopped in the 7th inning via the 10-run rule.
Weather: Sunny, lower 50's.
Attendance at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium = 73.
Up next is a three-game home series with North Dakota State. First game will be Friday (March 22) at 3PM.
