Oral Roberts will play host to the 2019 Summit League Tournament May 22-25.

The four-team field includes Omaha, South Dakota State, the host ORU, and Western Illinois. The winner will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

No. 1 Omaha vs. No. 4 Western | 12 p.m.
No. 2 South Dakota State vs. No. 3 Oral Roberts | 6 p.m.

The tournament format is a double elimination.

Western will now play the loser of tonight's game (South Dakota State vs Oral Roberts) in a 12 Noon elimination game on Thursday.

Game two has been postponed and will be played Thursday at Noon. Severe weather and a lightning strike near J.L. Johnson Stadium knocked power out at the facility and on the Oral Roberts campus, preventing the game to be played tonight.

The Leathernecks are now set to play the loser of game two on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

In Thursday's first game, Oral Roberts beat South Dakota State 5-2.

South Dakota State is playing Western now in an elimination game.

You bring a kid who has pitched 8 innings all year into the 8th inning of an elimination game, you are asking for trouble.

Western had an early 4-0 lead. But South Dakota State scored 3 runs in the 7th inning and 5 more in the 8th inning to win the game 9-5. Western has been eliminated.
