I could say something about a PortaPotty overflow caused by excessively exhuberant fanbase but I will restrain myself. Lol

Isn't it embarrassing to move a D1 game to a community field in another city in order to play a game? I doubt if Jacksonville had any less snow or moisture than Macomb.
The Jacksonville field complex is (for, I think, 4 out of 5 of the fields) completely turf...no real grass. So...great drainage, no mud.

I don't know what the answer is for us. Turf? Redo the field raised up with much better drainage?

From what I gather from reading this board, the problem is not local to just the baseball field. Soccer field also has drainage issues. A old farmer might say we need some drain tile put in somewhere pointing in the direction of the Lamoine.

I say we pull 100,000 out of WIU bank and throw on field that'll dry it out.

Slightly off-topic but former Leatherneck baller Joey White and his brother Jimmy did an outstanding job putting this victory song together for the Cubbies:

The voting contest is down to the final four. I looked at the other competition. I think Jimmy and Joey have a legit shot at this one. Good Luck to them!

As 712 would say, "KEEP VOTING!" and I might add "EARLY AND OFTEN"
