Women Fuzzy Ball Knockers got the best of South Dakota today in Vermillion. This is significant because we had not won a Summit League tennis contest since way back in April of 2011 (Centenary). It is a start.

I was on campus today and noticed that the two portable bleachers that had been in the north endzone of Hanson Field are now on the west side of the tennis courts.

Also noticed that the video boards have not been returned to Hanson Field. But that should be happening soon as they are always there for the Lee Calhoun Memorial track meet (April 13).

Tennis finished tied for 3rd in the Summit. 3-3 in the League & 9-14 overall. Best conference record since 2010. Hopefully the program can continue on the upswing.

Looks like the ladies are without coach now. MIRKO BJELICA seemed to have some success. His 2 daughters still listed on the roster. Not sure what his status is.

The salary for this position was $39,085 in 2017.

That may be a factor .............

Still got a good deal. His two daugters get a free education AND play D1 tennis. That adds up to about 160K at least if they stick around long enough to graduate although they might have defrayed some of those costs by living at home.

0-8 on the season and now 5 straight matches cancelled due to injury.

This just a rough year for the tennis team or is there something more there?
