You wonder if they ever leave their room, or if it's just easier to say it's someone else's fault that they are clueless. (Frankly, either one sounds possible in this day and age.....)

I have seen references to her being called the "Acting" or "Interim" coach.

I wonder if they wait until the men's season is over and name the men's coach the women's coach.

The Tennis site in WIU athletics only shows 5 players. How can that be a team? A regular match is 1 through 6 singles and 1 through 3 doubles, so at least 6 players are needed, though potentially 12 could play. With only 5, we must forfeit all 6th singles and 3rd doubles matches.

Didn't realize that, that is sad. Probably should drop women's tennis also.

Looks like something of a "refocus" on women's tennis. No men's tennis anymore, so more attention will be directed that way. Starting with....a new HC...Mirko Bjelica
http://goleathernecks.com/news/2016/2/1 ... 64247.aspx

Looks like he's got quite a bit of experience...HC for several private professional clubs, HC of the Montenegro national tennis team, and most recently, the assistant coach at the Tennessee Tech men's tennis team (a strong OVC team).

Next step is probably for him to start doing some solid recruiting to get the numbers back up so they can compete in all of the team event formats.

Embarrassed to post I have never been to a college tennis match in person. One question. Do all matches have an umpire(s) around to deal with the scoring, line calls, etc?
Embrace the pace of the race.
