Stuart looks pretty solid from the video I saw. Good stroke from deep AND he can effectively take it to the rim. I believe he has 3 years of eligibility for us. I also think he earned Region 16 Player of the Year honors this past season averaging about 17 PPG.

We might surprise some folks in the Summit this coming season

Stuart was the other kid who I mentioned that we had offered. Nice that even though he’s a Juco transfer he has 3 years of eligibility left.

Had offers from: U of Alabama Birmingham, Cleveland State, Boise State, Kent State, UW-Green Bay, Chicago State, Southeast Missouri State, and Grand Canyon University. Verbally committed to SEMO last September, reopened his recruiting in March. Looks like a pretty huge "get".

Chicago Sun Times says he is the highest rated prospect to ever sign with WIU giving credit to Coach Irwin's influence.

Wouldn’t surprise me the only other player that I can think of that might have been close would have been Covington he was a pretty high recruit coming out.

This is the most excited I've been about WIU Men's Basketball since the early '80's when Jack Margenthaler was winning conference tournaments and packing Western Hall to watch Joe Dykstra, Todd Hutcheson, Jamie Lilly, Duane Banks etc..Oh suppose I better mention Brad Bainter!

I know that there is still one more big fish out there that we can hopefully get.
