We're down to probably 3 players that were supposed to be committing that haven't sent in their NLI's yet (outside of ones we haven't heard of at all and/or walk-ons).
Clint Ratkovich, QB/MLB from Crete, IL
Raymond Sullivan, DE/OLB from Lincolnshire, IL
and an unknown player from eastern Ohio

Also, Lance Lenoir's brother Landon did sign with Southern Illinois. I hope he does well there (just not when they're playing against us).
Ratkovich is listed now.

Good to know. Haven't seen it come through twitter yet, but if he's on the list on the athletics website, then I'm sure the NLI has come in.

I could really go for a giant cookie....wonder if Coach Fisher might have a spot for an older walk-on 3rd string RB?

Great article about Kyle Sanft and his decision to stick with Western: http://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/e ... story.html

Apparently there's some issues accessing that link (asking some people for $). Here's a pdf of the article: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/128 ... r-News.pdf

Derek Gibson
6'4" 310lb
O-Lineman from Highland, KS
For some reason, Gibson is no longer listed on the roster. Since he transferred in at the start of this semester with the intent to play in the fall, he wasn't actually in any games. I wonder if it looked like he wasn't going to end up getting much/any playing time or things just weren't working out during spring practices. His twitter page doesn't really say anything, so I don't really know.

Years ago back in the 1970s, there was a sign posted as you entered Beaver Dam that read:

Would that be the city of Beaver Dam or the Town of Beaver Dam? One is located within the other. l will let you do the research. ;)

Leathernecks just got better this morning offensively! We got Tight End- Tony Harper a 6'4 250 transfer from Pitt that has 2 years of eligibility left!! This kid has tons of talent and will make an immediate impact for our new offense!

Coach Fisher and his staff using their connections!!

Great day to be Leatherneck!!!
