Just saw that this is official (kinda knew about it for a bit, but couldn't say anything until it was officially announced)....
We just got a huge TE transfer from Syracuse. 6'4", 240lb Trey Dunkelberger. He transferred to 'Cuse after spending a couple of years at Pierce College (CA) with the idea that he would be a main part of the offense, but they had a coaching change, changed the offensive system, and he was only able to get into one game last year.
If you read the comments here: http://www.syracuse.com/orangefootball/ ... tball.html
and the article here: http://ottosgrove.com/trey-dunkelberger ... -syracuse/
It really tells you that he's a great kid, works hard, has a lot of talent, but just got stuck in a system where he really wasn't going to do much for him with his skillset. He'll be a grad transfer, so we'll only get him for his final season of eligibility, but he should add some serious playmaking ability to the TE corps.

EDIT - here's another article about him: http://www.nunesmagician.com/2016/10/21 ... ter-season

Here's a comment from that article also...
Can’t say I follow SU football in depth enough to really know about this guy but he seems like the kind of kid I want on my team any day of the week.
Completely switching positions and sides of the field to help the team (and of course himself but still). These are the kind of people you need around a locker room to build a successful program. Maybe one day he can come back as an Ast Coach in some form.

Also regarding Trey Dunkelberger, this guy has a radio show (maybe just an internet radio show), but he covers sports, specifically Syracuse and their region. Tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11:15 AM Eastern (10:15 AM Central) he's going to have "Dunk" (can we start calling him that?) on to talk about his decision to transfer:

You can listen to it here: http://mixlr.com/wakeupcalldt/

Here's audio from the interview with Trey Dunkelberger: http://mixlr.com/wakeupcalldt/showreel/ ... trey-dunk/
It's the whole radio show, and the interview starts just after the 2 hour, 11 minute mark.

Other additions....

WR Jarid Brown, WR from Ohio University, 6'0", 193lbs
He's transferring in for his final year of eligibility.

We have also made an offer to O-lineman Lucas Holder. Holder played for Liberty University, was the Big South's Scholar-Athlete of the year as well as Big South second team all-conference. He also has offers from East Tennessee State and Stephen F. Austin.
[tweet]809823655500873728[/tweet]

And we have an offer out to Jalen Dennis, primarily a QB, but plays a few different positions on both sides of the ball. He's a 2017 grad from Wheeling HS in Wheeling, IL: http://www.hudl.com/profile/3256872/jalen-dennis

KellyDunk...you wouldn't happen to be related to the young Mr. Dunkleberger, would you? (I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but just wanted to check to be sure).

Welcome to the board, welcome to Leatherneck Athletics, and we all hope Trey has a great final season of college football. We've switched over to an offense that uses TEs as occasional receiving targets a lot more than we had in the past (2014 - 55 total receiving yards for TEs, 2015 - 13 yards, 2016 - 240 yards), and with two of the best WRs we've ever had in our history both being done now, the TEs could play an even bigger role next year. I hope that Trey can be a big part of that.

Another set of offers out there...

Eli Watson, 6'1", 200lb WR from Houston County HS in Warner Robbins, GA
http://www.hudl.com/profile/3365057/eli-watson
Says that our offer is #5 for him. I can't find all of him, but I know that he got an offer from FBS Georgia Southern and at some interest from Miami.

Fawaz Ayoola, 6'4", 280lb T/TE/G/C...most likely an O-lineman for us would be my guess, from Simeon Career Academy in Chicago
http://www.hudl.com/profile/5071638/fawaz-ayoola
[tweet]810993461017055232[/tweet]

Adam Mullett, 6'5", 195lb QB from Hamilton Southeastern HS in Fishers, IN
http://www.hudl.com/profile/2790152/adam-mullett/
[tweet]811001440948854784[/tweet]
Sounds like Mullett is one of the best QBs in the Indy area:
