Haven't seen him play, but he looks like he could potential become/play either DE in 4-3 or OLB in a 3-4. If we stay 4-3, the DE positions are both up for grabs in my opinion, so that's another reason.

Also he was HS teamates with Clint Ratkovich and would have been a freshman when Lance was a Sr.

3rd in state wrestling at 195 his Sr year. Like successful wrestlers on the DL.

Not sure I had this guy on my radar anywhere, but it looks like he's a commit for this fall.

Looks like he'll also be doing track and field. I think (but am not 100% sure) that he can play right away, if I'm reading the transfer exception rules correctly (http://www.athleticscholarships.net/nca ... ptions.htm). If the player is transferring to a FCS school for football and has at least two seasons of competition remaining, then they can get an exception. At least, that's what it sounds like to me.
