Kyle Coale:

Attended a bunch of kicking camps, got pretty decent ratings at most of them:

http://www.kornbluekicking.com/?p=4966
https://chrissailerkicking.com/player-r ... layer=4008

Looking at some of his highlight videos, it looks like he makes good solid connection on the ball...."kicks with confidence". Definitely worth giving an opportunity to as a preferred walk-on. Just FYI, preferred walk-on generally means that they'll automatically get a spot on the 105-man roster at the start of camp (they don't need to try out to earn a spot), but they don't (for now) get offered a scholarship. If they do well and prove themselves, they can earn a scholarship when one is available: http://www.athleticscholarships.net/201 ... alk-on.htm
Update on this kid, he committed:

Looks like we sent out another offer:

Eli Huggins, DE/DT, West Forsyth HS (Cumming, GA)
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/409159/eli-huggins

I would say unless he REALLY likes Western or our coaching staff, we probably won't end up getting him. He's got offers from NC State and Army (and fellow FCS members Bryant and Bucknell). Then again, if the offer from NC State is more of a "preferred walk-on" and ours is a scholarship at some percentage, or if it looks like he might start right off the bat (he's a d-lineman, so if he's good enough, it's a definite possibility), those could make Western more attractive.

I don't remember if it's been officially said, but this guy who was previously mentioned also officially committed:
Adam Fellner, kicker - http://www.leathernecknation.net/forum/ ... 025#p10025

[tweet]706550061430222848[/tweet]

So, couple of solid kickers and a very highly rated long snapper...special teams should be getting better.
