Illinois State wins the "best name" portion of Signing Day

If you want to talk about Monmouth University Football, Quincy University Basketball, Notre Dame Men's Soccer, or whatever, this is the place.

Should have just shortened his last name to "Beef". All right, I apologize for that one..........

No doubt his scouting report said something like "not too lean just very well-marbled".
Embrace the pace of the race.

I would not be surprised if that's a common nickname for him considering his size and name.

Kobe Buffalomeat's family is of Native American descent. He is from Lawrence, KS.

He will be a "Grey Shirt" at Illinois State. That means that he will not enroll at ILSU until January 2018. According to NCAA rules, that would allow him to participate in the 2018 spring practice and sit out the 2018 season as a red shirt. He then would have 4 years of eligibility remaining starting in the fall of 2019.

Ah, good call...that makes a lot more sense (and fits with what BobLovely mentioned earlier). With regards to his first name, by the sounds of it on the AGS forum, he was actually named after Kobe Bryant.
