Carson Wentz will be throwing to Dallas Goedert as the eagles took him at #49.

Hope you don't mind me changing the title of your post. Thought I'd use your post to start a thread about this year's NFL draft. I'm pretty busy tomorrow, but I plan on trying to post any news about MVFC players taken in the draft.
As leatherneckcountry mentioned...
#49 overall (17 in Rd 2) - Eagles traded up to pick SDSU TE Dallas Goedert
If you have a chance, watch the video of David Akers announcing the pick too. Dude was channeling his inner WWE wrestler and it was hilarious. Unless you're a Cowboys fan, in which case...don't watch this...you will throw things.

Goedert was a man among boys in the MVFC. If he did not simply outrun his would-be tacklers, they would bounce off him like a ping pong ball off a paddle.
Embrace the pace of the race.

I really think his break out came against us 2 years ago he went nuts in that game .sealhall74 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 8:48 am Goedert was a man among boys in the MVFC. If he did not simply outrun his would-be tacklers, they would bounce off him like a ping pong ball off a paddle.

So I haven't been keeping up any chance we hear Brett name today.
Don't know. I had heard his "dream" (at least a few years ago) was to go undrafted and sign with the Packers as a free agent. That might have changed over the years, though.leatherneckcountry wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 9:32 am So I haven't been keeping up any chance we hear Brett name today.
I'm curious about Jaelon Acklin as well - have seen posts that he's been shown interest from several teams. Hope both kids make it to the next level.
My guess at this point is that Acklin gets drafted late, Taylor and Holloway...and possibly Judd, get picked up as UDFA's. I know Taylor is a Packers fan, but as a Bears fan, I'm not sure I could handle thatrocki wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 11:20 amDon't know. Also, not MVFC, but a guy we're a bit familiar with...Weber State's really good CB, Taron Johnson, was drafted with the 121st pick, #21 in the 4th round, to the Bills.
