Duquesne beat Towson 31-10. Duquesne will play #5 South Dakota State next week. Attendance at Towson = 2,158.

Wofford beat Elon 19-7. Wofford will play #4 Kennesaw State next week. Attendance at Wofford = 2,157.

Southeast Missouri State beat Stony Brook 28-14. SEMO will play #2 Weber State next week. Attendance at SEMO = 5,679.

Montana State beat Incarnate Word 35-14. Montana State will play #1 North Dakota State next week. Attendance at Montana State = 10,017.

James Madison beat Delaware 20-6. James Madison will play #8 Colgate next week. Attendance at James Madison = 7,297.

Nicholls State beat San Diego 49-30. Nicholls State will play #3 Eastern Washington next week. Attendance at Nicholls State = 8,571.

Northern Iowa beat Lamar 16-13. Northern Iowa will play #6 UC Davis next week. Attendance at Northern Iowa = 4,082.

Jacksonville State beat East Tennessee State 34-27. Jacksonville State will play #7 Maine next week. Attendance at Jacksonville State = 11,024.

Not that we would have had a home game if we made the playoffs, but if we did i would like to think we would have had more than 2100 fans at the game like a couple of the games had.

So does that mean we should quit complaining about our poor turnouts when considering the reality of small-time D1 football?

On another note, go UC Davis (my alma mater), put a whooping on those UNI Panthers!
