Illinois State beat Missouri State 17-12. Attendance at Illinois State = 5,701.

Indiana State beat Youngstown State 24-17. Attendance at Indiana State = 3,645.

South Dakota State beat Northern Iowa 38-7. Attendance at South Dakota State = 7,317.

North Dakota State beat South Dakota 49-14. Attendance at North Dakota State = 17,844.

In the area's big game, Monmouth won the Midwest Conference championship game by beating St Norbert 10-7 today in Monmouth. Monmouth scored the winning touchdown with 2 seconds left in the game. Monmouth now advances to the NCAA Playoffs for the 3rd time in the last 5 years. Monmouth’s opponent in the first round to be held on November 23 will be announced at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Monmouth will play at UW-Whitewater on Saturday (Nov 23) in a first-round playoff game. Game time is 12 Noon.

Other Illinois teams making the Field of 32 include Wheaton, Aurora, and North Central.

The Championship game (Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl) will be on December 20 in Shenandoah, Texas.

Truman State finished the season with a 9-2 record.

They will be playing Ohio Dominican University in the America's Crossroads Bowl on December 7 in Hobart, Indiana.
