Obviously not a great deal of MVFC games going on this fall, so I figured we'd just have one thread for all of them, at least for now.

Up this weekend is:
9/12 @ 6:00 PM - Missouri State at #5 (FBS) Oklahoma

Other games currently scheduled for this fall are:
9/26 @ 7:00 PM - Missouri State at Central Arkansas (Southland)
10/3 @ 2:30 PM - Central Arkansas at North Dakota State
10/17 @ 7:00 PM - Central Arkansas at Missouri State

The only other "local team" games going on this weekend:
9/12 - Louisiana Lafayette at #23 Iowa State (currently underway)
9/12 @ 1:30 PM - Duke at #10 Notre Dame

The ACC could postpone its football season if fewer than 8 teams are available to play.

So far, two ACC games have been postponed because of coronavirus considerations: both involving Virginia Tech.

Missouri State lost to #5 Oklahoma, 48-0

Also, #10 Notre Dame beat Duke, 27-13, and Louisiana-Lafayette took down #23 Iowa State, 31-14.

Overall it was a bad weekend for the Big 12. Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, and West Virginia won their games against mostly FCS (except UTEP at TX) opponents, but you had three Big 12 teams losing to Sun Belt Teams.
The previously-mentioned ULL beat Iowa State, 31-14
Arkansas State beat K-State, 35-31
Coastal Carolina beat Kansas, 38-23

No MVFC games this weekend.

There's one game this weekend involving a team in our region:
9/19 at 1:30 PM - South Florida at #7 Notre Dame

The Big 10 has announced that they will be starting their season October 24.
Also, the MAC presidents will be meeting this Saturday to discuss a shortened conference schedule starting on that same date (10/24).

Culver-Stockton College is the only Tri-States area school that is playing fall football.

Last weekend, Missouri State visited Central Arkansas. MSU was leading 20-7 until late in the 3rd quarter, when UCA went on a 20-point run highlighted by a 30-yard fumble return and 57-yard punt return, both for TDs, to win 27-20.

MVFC Game this week:
10/3 @ 2:30 PM - Central Arkansas (2-1) at North Dakota State (0-0), on ESPN+
NDSU had been planning on allowing a limited amount of fans in the Fargodome, but they switched their position within the last day and will only be allowing coaches, player families, and a limited number of pro scouts.

Other teams in our region playing this weekend:
10/3 @ 11:00 AM - Missouri (0-1) at #21 Tennessee (1-0), SECN
10/3 @ 6:30 PM - #18 Oklahoma (1-1) at Iowa State (1-1O, ABC

That targetting call on Cent Ark was terrible. If you lower your shoulder to make a tackle and helmets happen to touch, that is football. Might as well be pulling hankies if you call that.
