Thread for non-Western-related MVFC spring football season news.

Starting with...

Illinois State at Missouri State rescheduled for April 17 due to snow/field conditions.

Forgot to mention...we might be taking this weekend off, but a few teams won't be.

Games this weekend in the MVFC:
2/19 at 7 PM - South Dakota State at Northern Iowa (ESPN+) - currently underway, SDSU leading 17-7 nearing the end of the first half
2/20 at 12 PM - Southern Illinois at North Dakota (ESPN+)
2/21 at 2:30 PM - Youngstown State at North Dakota State (ESPN+)

Despite fighting to get back into the game and eventually taking a 20-17 lead, UNI lost 24-20 after an SDSU TD with 19 seconds left in the game.

Attendance at Northern Iowa = 2,137.

North Dakota beat Southern Illinois 44-21. Attendance at North Dakota = 3,176.

I haven't heard for sure, but I don't believe so.

Saw on the TV Sports highlights that both Quincy Notre Dame and Quincy High School had Pep Bands at their basketball games.
