Talk about being in the right place at the right time, the Salukis get to celebrate this eclipse thing all over again in 7 years. They had a 20 person suite in their stadium renting for $10K today. It was a total "what eclipse" for me today. I mowed my grass. Things got a little darker but I think it was mostly because of some heavy thunder clouds moving in. I went down to the local middle school to try and get some cardio in on their track thinking the temp might drop a few degrees and make it a comfortable adventure. Started raining and I gave up after two laps. Oh well, ..

My wife and I went outside and watched it from right next to Seal Hall. The thicker clouds held off until just after "peak" eclipse coverage thankfully. I was able to take a few photos with my point and shoot through my eclipse glasses. Here's my best one:
