Noticed UW-Oshkosh listed in the NCAA Division 3 first-round football playoff games that were played on Saturday (Nov 18).

UW-Oshkosh is the 3rd largest university in Wisconsin with an enrollment of 14,343.

Interesting that they play at the Division 3 level when three of the smallest state universities in Illinois (Western, Eastern, and Chicago State) play Division 1.

The UW system doesn't let any other D1 football teams in the state. UW whitewater could easily compete in FCS of they wanted to and if UW system would allow it, but they won't.
