How many Pilates machines do we have on campus for our student-athletes? Cubs' Jake Arrieta's core is so damn strong, flexible, and toned that he is at a performance level never seen before in MLB.

I have been doing some Pilates mat work at home for the past 4 or 5 weeks. Last Thursday at gym, I hurt my lower back doing some goblet squats. My back went into immediate spasm mode just like it always does when I screw up my back. However, within 10 seconds, the spasms totally subsided. Just suffered some mild stiffness that lasted 24 hours. Usually, I would be walking funny with severe pain and or spasms for about 4 or 5 days. I ran a 5K this morning with no ill effects. I am now hooked on the Pilates stuff. I do about 30 minutes of it (via Gaia online site) when I get out of bed in morning. Thank you Jake for the inspiration.
