This is just going to be for testing things out. Feel free to post your own replies to test out the new interface and stuff.

To eliminate confusion, I'm deleting some of my posts here and putting a lot of stuff together into an official "How-To" section. Please continue to use this to test things out yourself.

Looks great Scott.

Question. You mentioned in your post you were going to imbed some links. At least in Chrome they don't show as embedded, just as html code.

Is it possible to create special purpose tags for embeddable content. If so, maybe one for Rocky Vision content would be nice. Go to last post on my SMF forum page for example:

http://www.chompbit.net/RockyRavesForum ... ?topic=2.0

By default, only admins have access to the SMF HTML tags which allow that embedding to happen.

We can easily link to the same video, but sometimes you just want to avoid the clutter (and advertising) in life and stick with the meat and potatoes:

Also, can we get Tapatalk (or equivalent) plugin for this thing?

Oh sure, we can do that.

What's the code for embedding the Rocky Vision content?

There appears to be a tapatalk plugin for phpBB, so I'll look into getting that running.

Below is the code for that particular video. I got it from the Share/Embedding option on Rocky Vision screen. That video was not premium content so no login was required to see it. I am not sure how things might behave if you embed something that requires a login. I guess we can experiment a bit.

<object width="480" height="301" id="embed" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"><param name="movie" value="http://www.goleathernecks.com/mediaPortal/embed.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="flashVars" value="catid=31309&id=3250117&img=http://image.cdnllnwnl.xosnetwork.com/p ... vsp/12000/" /><embed name="embed" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer" src="http://www.goleathernecks.com/mediaPortal/embed.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="301" quality="high" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" flashVars="catid=31309&id=3250117&img=http://image.cdnllnwnl.xosnetwork.com/p ... d></object>

Ok, I think I've got it figured out and tweaked.

You can see how to set it up in the RockyVision info post here: http://www.leathernecknation.net/forum/ ... 7&p=53#p53
