Just curious, since I haven't been able to attend any of the fall games in any sport. Have any Western athletes elected not to stand during the national anthem or made any sign of protest?

The football team is still in the locker room during the National Anthem.

It has not happened at the Volleyball games that I have seen.

I see that there is a movement to take a knee during the national anthem on October 8.

So did the movement actually materialize? If so, did they leave afterward or stick around for the game?

Idk, it looked like there was maybe a line of people standing at the fence that might have done something. I was recording video of the singer (a band member) and didn't see if they did anything. I didn't hear any response out of the crowd either, so...I don't really know. Sorry.
