In the real world, with a "real" job, this type of " not meeting expectations" would have been terminated long ago. There needs to be accountability somewhere-unless, Western is fine with having a baseball program to attract students and not really concerned with competing for conference championships ( or, even being competitive at this level).

I am kind of a believer in the Massey Ratings when it comes to judging how well things are going. For the most part, the Summit League is WAAAAAAY down this year with four teams in the bottom 35 out of 299 D1 schools. Even Omaha is struggling this year.

Record now is 18-28......a sub .400 winning percentage - YET AGAIN..... and 4th place in conference (let's get tropical, I guess).......

Cumulative record over the last five seasons:

89-166 overall (.349) and 54-84 (.391) in conference.

There is no upward trend. There is no sign of improvement. Every season over the past 5 years yields the same (dismal) results.

When is enough, enough?

Without question. Just don't think it is feasible given the current budget situation.

That would depend on the contract situation. If he's year-to-year or if his current contract is up, they should be able to let him go without having to pay out any extra. If he's early or mid-contract though, could be a buyout penalty, in which case...yea, we probably can't afford to be doing that at this point.
