Do we not have cameras around the "ENTRANCE" to the University?.. 2nd time?...This is kinda embarrasing to be honest.

Or if we really go out a limb, we could blame it on a Bush 43 transition copy-cat crime. When he first took over the White House, he and his staff were welcomed with missing W keys on all the computer keyboards.
I like your supposition better. A stolen W seems like a small price to pay for a 108 year curse.
The "Dubya" et al. thefts are not going away. There is something about a very nice looking backlit letter within arm's reach in a fairly remote area that says "Take Me, I'm Yours".
