I think we all should get use to the "Block" W from here on out. Nice class of freshmen to build on with an average grade point of 3.41! Good things to come! ;) jc

Sad if true since last fall was our first under 1,000 at 934

New freshmen from the 2018 Fact Book
Fall 2014 = 1605
Fall 2015 = 1535
Fall 2016 = 1527
Fall 2017 = 1206
Fall 2018 = 934

That number of 934 from the 2018-2019 Fact Book is broken down as follows:
Macomb Campus = 896
Macomb Extension = 5
Quad Cities Campus = 27
Quad Cities Extension = 6
___________________________
Total = 934

Just hang in there folks! I realize its tough to ignore cold hard facts, but things are turning around. Lets wait for the official 10 day count. We can analyze the numbers till we drop dead of exhaustion but the key is, recruitment and retention in an environment of state support. ;) jc

Numbers, numbers, numbers. I am more interested in Programs and Degrees. We could very well elect a President who pushes for free public community college tuition for all. I would think that would have a big impact on freshman enrollment numbers at public 4 year universities. What can they do to compete? Simple - offer an Associate Degree for 2 years of academic work.
