I wonder if they're able to get a deal from Amtrak...group rate, or something. You gotta figure, more students at Western means more students using the Amtrak route to head back north every now and then.
Does Tom Carper (Amtrak Board member) still reside in Macomb? Lord only knows how any beers I drink under one of his roofs when he was in Macomb. LOL

Yup, he's still around. I see him every now and then at town events and stuff.

His wife (Gayle) is on the Macomb City Council.
