J.k. bout avatar NFS71. Besides, what kind of weirdo has a stained glass image as an avatar?

Redneck, took your comment as a "friendly" nudge! I am out of town right now and only have my IPad! Avatar will be corrected when I return! Nice stain glass window! ;) jc

Wish I had some news for you, but I have not heard a single word on this yet, I am sure all bids are under review and it could take upwards of 2 weeks to award bid, but usually on a project of this size some newspaper will write about who was the low bidder at the opening.

It looks like River City Construction LLC made a bid to build the CPA. They were looking for other contractors to bid on the different construction pieces of this enormous puzzel. They have a heck of alot of experience with building university buildings and facilities. ;) jc

That is one of the contractors I figured had a strong shot of getting this project. They do good work and are relatively close so this would most likely be a plus if they were low bidder.

More CPA delays...

Some bids missed the deadline by literally seconds, so they only had the one bid, the one from River City (Peoria) that was ~$5 million above estimates.
So, another delay to revise the bid and send it out for re-bid.
