Yea, they've paved in most of the divider now. Base is there for a light pole and I think the only thing left for the pillar is the block W.

Also saw a thing in the paper where they're going to be changing the section of road called C.T. Vivian Way to the more prominent section of North Lafayette street, essentially from the train tracks north to University Drive. C.T. Vivian is the Grand Marshall of this year's Homecoming Parade and will be present for the dedication ceremony.

I think that the current C.T. Vivian Way on West Murray (from Stadium Drive to Western Avenue) will remain.

The "new" C.T. Vivian Way along North Lafayette Street will be in addition to the existing one on West Murray.

Mayor Mike Inman has a goal to connect these two segments.
