Coach Fisher and I have been texting back and forth the last couple of days and he said they have had a great week of practice and preparation for Indiana State.

The teams attitude is very positive and the boys are ready to get after it on Saturday! Everyone is healthy and ready to go!

He said you have to have tuff hide and bounce back with great determination!! I believe we will!

For those of you going to the game please stop by the Leatherneck trailer and introduce yourself...I would like to meet all of you!

Go Necks!!

OLine remains healthy and starters remain unchanged for week five. The first four weeks saw primarily a six man rotation with limited reps for backups. That's more of a testament to game situations (close), the starters health, and their performance.

Second group of five some extended action in SDSU game once it got out of hand. It was good to see guys get some action in case they are called upon in future games. Starters were "challenged" in practice this week with 2nd team guys splitting reps and pushing for more PT.

77 James Torgerson RT
73 Matt Zobrist RG
66 Jacob Judd C
76 Drew Wagner LG
55 Josh Baldus LT

Sycamore WR Bob Pugh played JuCo football with my son at Highland Community College in Kansas. Great kid and player as he was one of the top all-purpose yard guys in the league. On Saturday he is the opponent, and we really need to key on keeping him contained.

Expect to see things switched up in the defensive backfield this week with possible change in starters or at a minimum some more reps for other guys on the depth chart.

Thanks, Tom. I was glad to see the backups get some reps last week - never know when they might be needed to step up and fill a big hole.

Particularly glad to hear all the guys are still healthy after playing in some really tough games. Here's to keeping that status quo!!!

Let's go 'Necks!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, chilly for my 5k this morning, but nice now.

End zone bleachers are in place in the north end zone too.

I'm going to refrain from commenting on the two bleachers.
