This was a perfect example of "trench warfare," a game that was decided at the line of scrimmage. Bison pressure disrupted our offense throughout the afternoon. And the four down failure to score at the end was just an exclamation point. At that point the game was over IMO. Not to mention there ability to drive the field in the second half. I still think we have a damn good, playoff bound team, and maybe, just maybe we will get a chance at the Bison one more time this year. We are not that far from being reallllllllllllly good! ;) jc

Yep, that was complete domination at the line of scrimmage for sure. Still, had it not been for that missed XP in the 1st half, we could have been within one TD in the final quarter. It would have been nice to get that TD when we inside the 5 late, but you kick the FG there to get within 8 and get a stop and who knows. But that is a very good team, good enough to beat about half of the FBS teams out there. IMHO, we need to recruit quicker more agile players in the trenches to compete at their level. Making them stronger is just not enough.

It will be a gut check from here on out. I kind of think the next game is a must win if we want to control our own playoff destiny. Too many strong teams in the Valley this year. A couple good ones are staying home.
Embrace the pace of the race.

It was as if the Bison were playing defense with 12 guys.

I saw this yesterday. An amazing story. Do not watch unless you have tissues handy. You will cry...especially if you have kids.

I didn't have my tissues ready and my wife walked in and starred at me and asked if someone died. So I made her watch it and she shared'it on Facebook. Great, now I have to be a NDSU fan by default. :)

Can't say I didn't warn you. Wentz is by far my favorite NFL QB (and I'm a bears fan).
