Anyone know where we can scrape up about $12 million?

That'd be really nice...I think we're still trying to pull together the money for the new west side stands at this point, but that is definitely something I'd like to see as the next big project. It'd be awesome to have it right next to the football field, but they'd have to cut out some of q-lot for a building of that size to go in just to the north of the field. Otherwise we're probably looking at having it over by Vince Grady Field or the current football practice fields behind the baseball/softball stadiums.

It would fit where the throwing pits are now. At least the majority of it. Some of us were sizing it up last weekend at the Camp :D

Chiefs paid for most of it. If we still had the St Louis Rams coming to town, we too would have one.

When you look at it, the structure over the turf field is really not much more than a fancy pole barn. My roomie at Western sold them things before going back to school to get his masters.

And this is a DII program regardless if the Chiefs train there. They have DII power NWMO just up the road from them and Pitt State a couple hours to the South. They have to have the facilities to compete.

The Bears have had their summer training camp at Olivet Nazarine University in Bourbonnais, IL since 2002.

From 1984-2001, the Bears were at UW-Platteville.

That was back when they had two a days every day with no water breaks and sleeping in the dorms with no air conditioning. I dont know if we are trending toward pussification or elitism but I think it is one of them.
