North Dakota State is the favorite. Western slotted 8th in MVFC pre-season poll.

I can live with being an underdog. Without knowing what we gained in recruits/transfers, it does look like we lost a lot of players to grad. I prefer a pleasant surprise that no one expects. ;)

Our ranking makes since, from an outsiders perspective. Not know how good Connor is, and as stated earlier, not a lot of hype about our transfers. But I really think this is SDSU’s year.

Yup...we're coming off a 5-6 season, lost some big-time playmakers, have some question marks on both sides of the ball....how good is the d-line going to be without Saunders?...will the offense figure out how to run the ball?...QB Sampson, Johnson, or someone else?...and how good?...lots of transfers; never can predict how they'll do.

I can understand the hesitation to put us higher based on the "unknowns" at this point. Personally, I think we'll be fine, but from the outside looking in, it makes sense at this point.

Got some good news this morning. Might be closing on a house in Davenport BEFORE the first home game. :D

My “Guess”

1) SDSU
2) NDSU
3) Ill state
4) WIU
5) Ind St
6) UNI
7) USD
8) YSU
9) Mo State
10) SIU

Number 4-7 could switch in any order depending on how the season goes. So I went ahead and put us 4th 😉👍
