I haven't seen or heard anything, but I hope it's Johnson.

Agreed. Guess we will see in a few hours. I think Johnson could revitalize our season.

According to the McDonough County Voice, it will be Connor Sampson.

Injury update:

According to this week’s two-deep, quarterback Connor Sampson will be back at center after missing the second half of the Tennessee Tech game with an injury.

Several other players like wide receiver John Brunner and running backs Max Norris and Vic Johnson were not listed on the two-deep and could continue to miss time.

Elliott did stress that several players did work their way back into practice this week, not just Sampson, and could be ready come Saturday.

“I think we had some good competition in some spots over the bye week,” he said. “Connor did a good job coming back from his tweak against Tennessee Tech, but not just the quarterback position, we’ve had other guys get back but we do still have guys who are out and that’s where it is and where we are.

“We have a good feel for who we are going to have ready for Missouri State, but we’ll see.”

Redbirds first and goal at the 1 after a long reception and dont get in. Not there, but I surmise fans are heading for the exit after 3rd quarter.
Embrace the pace of the race.
