Coaching staff has been announced: https://goleathernecks.com/news/2020/4/ ... staff.aspx

Pretty much "as expected". The previously mentioned new guys, plus a bit of shuffling of duties, such as Coach JP Boudreaux taking over LB's (something he's done in the past elsewhere).

Love Holden, he's a great young man, and I wish him nothing but the best. I think everyone will be excited when his replacement is announced. :-)

Are you trying to hint at a Brett Taylor here LOL. Honestly I have no clue what Brett is even up to these days.

Odd coincidence that I just noticed today...

We've had two recent CBs coaches that both played for Iowa State in the game against us back in 2012. 2016 CB coach Deon Broomfield (now a defensive assistant for the Houston Texans) had 1 solo and 2 assisted tackles in that game, and current CB coach Jacques Washington had 2 assisted tackles.

Broomey will forever be remembered in Cyclone lore for his interception off Brandon Weedon that set up the eventual winning TD for the Cyclones in what was one of the biggest upsets in school history.
