Last season, our home game average was 2,653, which is 16.2% of capacity.
2018 we were at 3,179, which is 19.4% of capacity.
2017 we were at 3,477, which is 21.2% of capacity.
Although, last season, our highest-attended game was the home opener against Montana State with 4,728 fans, which is 28.9% of capacity.
So on average, no...we won't notice a difference. Although there might be a bit of a smaller crowd than we're used to for the "big games"...home opener, homecoming.

If the MVFC goes with a "conference games only" format, perhaps we could fill two of our 3 non-conference games with the MVFC teams that we were not scheduled to play this year: North Dakota State and Missouri State.

The ISEA has cancelled their fall sports.
The IHSA will make an announcement on Wednesday about its fall sports.
Meanwhile, Iowa is going ahead with high school football. Iowa has reduced the regular season down to 7 games. And is allowing schools to play as few as 5 games. Any games cancelled because of COVID will be recorded as "No Game" and will not result in a forfeit for the affected school.

OU vs MO State and SIU vs Kansas both approved by the NCAA to be played on Aug 29th (Week zero). This is a good sign that the Valley and the NCAA aren't planning to pull the plug on the season completely. Doesn't mean it won't happen later I know. Hoping we can move the OSU game to the 29th and get out of the N Bama game. They may want to move their Virg Tech game to week zero as well. Let's keep the payday games!

Sounds like the MVFC is planning on announcing this week that they will not be cancelling the fall football season:

As of right now, UNA (Big South), Eastern Washington (Big Sky), and Oklahoma State (Big 12) are all planning on playing their full schedules this fall. If that holds true and the MVFC sticks with playing their schedule, then it doesn't look like WIU's schedule should change at all.

How do you see the FCS Playoffs playing out when not all FCS schools will have complete schedules?
