College Football generates way too much $$ to not be played. What it looks like will definitely be interesting.
Regarding that $$ generations, outside the schools with TV contracts, only a very even break even on football.

"A recent N.C.A.A. study determined that only about 20 of the 1,000 or so college sports programs in the nation were profitable." https://www.bannersociety.com/2019/8/12 ... ic-budgets
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make anyone think the schools made the money. I was talking about the NCAA and their corporate partners.

Might not be fair or popular, but I would think at least family of players, coaches and staff should be allowed to attend all games, home or away.
I would hope students as well....they are the one's paying for the bulk of it!
Of course, them too. Its my understanding very few of them actually enter the stadium for the game though?

Am I the only one who has a bad feeling that there won’t be any college athletics before 2021. Several big name schools are having a ton of covid cases

Clemson football has 23 positive cases.

MLB has closed all 30 of their training camps for cleaning.

Under the current IHSA Stage 2, seating will be capped at 20% of capacity at high school events in Illinois.

The folks over at AGS seem to be split about 50/50 whether we'll have a 2020 football season or not.

Phase 4 of "Restore Illinois" is due to start on Friday.

Outdoor spectator sports can resume with no more than 20% of seating capacity; concessions permitted with restrictions.
