What is Wright's contract? I don't remember hearing anything besides the one year deals.

Lets just let the Dads coach this team ,, lol.. Ancrums dad is a coach also.. and ex pro, Coach Mo probably came to WIU so he could coach his son,, then left when his son was done.. just a thought

Bring in an assistant from a school like NIU, or or Stephen F Austin, or even NDSU, etc somebody who has seen how win to consistently as a midmajor school..

When did NIU become consistent winner Stephen F Austin I'm not sure how many of those coaches are holdovers.

Just sayin ,, for the money WIU will pay,, it will have to be somebody with no head coach experience, or go down to D2 schools.. Idk, but they can find somebody..

Florida Gulf Coast hired an assistant, Joe Dooley, he brought them Dunk City. So who knows what is out there.

The weekly RPI Rankings have been released. Western is holding steady at #349 (out of 351).

Longwood has moved up a spot to #350. Alabama A&M is now at the bottom.

Instead of starting a new post, I'll ask quick here. Isn't the Western men the only D-1 men basketball in Illinois to never make it to the men's basketball "big dance" yet? The women have been there-can't remember when.
