Wow, what a win for the men, maybe this won't be a lost season after all. Need to keep it up though and don't fall apart like last season. I would like to see how many more wins WIU would have if Miklusak had play all year. They need to develop depth though the starters minus Gilbeck can't play 35+ minutes a game.

I'll say it again, if you sign JUCO guys they need to come in and contribute right away, the 2 JUCO guys they signed this season, didn't play tonight and Moxey has fallen out of the rotation altogether.

Now the real season has begun. Games have been ugly so far, but if they can turn it around now is the time to do it.

Bruster had some young and uncharacteristic turnovers tonight, but if he can hit a few shots, he is a real dagger that cant be stopped if teams focus on Covington and Duff.

Western wins!

Western set a record by making 18 of 37 three-pointers.

Garret Covington led the scoring with 25 points. C.J. Duff had 21. Mike Miklusak had 17. Delo Bruster had 12.

Attendance at IPFW = 1,345.

Next game will be Sat (Dec 31) at IUPUI. Game time is 12 Noon and will be on ESPN3.
