We are a lousy shooting team. Either get closer to the basket or draw the defense into the paint to give us a better look on the perimeter.
I was very curious to see some results, seal. Very telling. I don't get how a division one basketball coach doesn't recognize this. You are also very forgiving in not requiring it to be a big that touches the ball.

Thank you for keeping tally!

78-69 Win. Best team win I have seen during conference play but I have missed a couple of wins. The big redhead continues to impress (7 of 9 from the field with a handful of blocks). He needs to touch it every time. Ancrum had a nice scoring effort with 20. Miklusak was on fire in 2nd half.

Western wins 78-69!!

Western is now 7-13 (4-5 in the Summit). IUPUI is 9-14 (3-6 in the Summit).

Dalan Ancrum led the Western scoring with 20 points. Garret Covington had 16. Brandon Gilbeck had 15. Mike Miklusak had 13.

Western shot 28 for 54 (52%) and had 34 points in the paint.

Attendance at Western Hall = 843. We need to get more people in the seats.

Next game will be Wednesday night (Feb 1) at South Dakota State. Game time is 7PM. The game will be on ESPN3.

As someone who was at the game there is no way those attendance #'s are right i always sit right behind the bench and I have a friend who has reserved season tickets and they gave me one for the game because there out of town and the girl did not want me sitting in the ga section i think they need to keep the reserved section and make the rest fair game like it has always been in the past.

I also thought that the crowd was larger than 843.

The Reserved Sections can be reduced a bit. Large portions of the center sections on both sides of the court were empty.

Hamstring issue. He is "day to day" like most of us.
